I've got the Monday Blues :) After a long, wonderful winter break and a short week last week, I definitely woke up with the Monday Blues today. I'm ready to get back into the swing of things and start a fresh new year with my little ones.
I'm joining Charity over at the Classroom Freebies Blog to share a fun activity for adding and subtracting money using a menu. I created a menu that I glued on to construction paper and laminated. I use them every year and my students LOVE it. The document is 9 pages and includes the menu and worksheets for adding and subtracting money. Students pretend they are a waiter or waitress and take orders from eachother in order to add and subtract money. My students love getting to play "waiter" or "waitress" and choose what they want to order.
